Why Minnesota: Impressive breadth of strength across all otolaryngology subspecialties. A unique range of experience across academic and private hospitals. Kind and down-to-earth faculty. Early operative experience, with PGY-1 and 2 residents having ample OR time.

Hobbies: Running, bouldering, history books/podcasts, and craft beer.

Medical Interests: Open to all things ENT; I enjoy pediatric airway surgery and head and neck cancer surgery. I also am interested in mentorship and education.

Research Summary/Interests: Multiple clinical and basic science publications across a range of topics; podium and poster presentations at national otolaryngology meetings. My favorite projects include development of a new surgical technique for a rare pediatric airway anomaly and developing ultrasound identification techniques in salivary glands. Awards include AOA honor medical society, Best Clinical Research Poster (ASPO), and Gill research fellowship.
