Why Minnesota: It’s an amazing atmosphere for residents to learn, you get all the types of training you’d want (county, VA, academic, private practice), all the breadth/depth, clinical and basic science research, and an amazing alumni network! Plus I did my sub-I here and was blown away by how nice the residents and faculty actually were, and how well everyone got along- you’re going to work a ton in residency but you want a good resident community/ support system as well as top training- best of both worlds!
